Installing FileMaker

Before installing

Check if your version of Windows meets system requirements here.

1. Double-click on the installer fmp_22.0.2.202_x64.exe¹ in your Downloads folder
2. Click on Next
3. Select "English" and click OK to start the installation
4. Click on Next
5. You now see a "Customer Information" window
6. If the serial number has already been entered under "License Certificate", then click Next. Otherwise, click on Browse for Certificate... and point to "LicenseCert.fmcert", located in the Downloads folder
7. Confirm the location of the FileMaker Pro program and click Next
8. Select "Complete" as Setup type and click Next
9. Remove both ticks under "Application Shortcuts" and click Next
10. Click on Install
11. Click on Finish

Installing shortcut

For easy launch of Structure, a shortcut must be placed on the desktop of your computer.

1. Copy path² to your Structure system
2. Go to your Windows desktop
3. Right-click and select New → Shortcut
4. Paste the path you copied in step 1 into the field and click the Next button
5. Name the shortcut “Structure”

Login in Structure

You must now log in to Structure for the first time.

1. Double-click on the Structure shortcut on the desktop
2. Put a cross in the lower left corner and click Accept
3. Tick "Always permit connection to this host" and click Connect
4. Enter your username³ in "Account Name" and the temporary password³ and click Sign in
5. You will now have to replace the temporary password with your own personal password
6. Structure is now ready for use
